Internationally renowned wine maker Alan McCorkindale, with more than two decades of wine making experience, produces wines from New Zealand’s Waipara Valley and Marlborough wine regions.
Respect for the environment and a minimalist grape growing and wine making philosophy have created style and innovation in the wines. They are fresh and clean and make a bold statement that is New Zealand – Aotearoa.
Attention to the tiniest details is the key to the quality of the wines. Grapes are harvested at a maximum flavour intensity, gently pressed and fermented using a blend of modern technology and traditional methods to produce wines of quality and style.
Alan McCorkindale specialises in methode traditionelle sparkling wine. Painstaking adherence to traditional Champagne methods such as hand-harvesting, whole-bunch pressing, barrel fermentation and four years lees ageing coupled with innovation and style have produced a classic New Zealand methode traditionelle.
